FIRST LADY MEHRIBAN ALIYEVA VISITS FRIENDS' ASSOCIATION FOR CHILDREN WITH CANCER “ELPIDA” IN ATHENS

Athens, February 17 (AzerTAc). Azerbaijan`s First Lady, President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation, UNESCO and ISESCO Goodwill Ambassador, MP Mrs. Mehriban Aliyeva visited today the Friends' Association for Children with Cancer “ELPIDA”.

Here, Mrs. Mehriban Aliyeva was welcomed by the association`s top officials.
Azerbaijan`s First Lady attended an event with participation of children with cancer
and their parents.
Speaking to the event, UNESCO Goodwill Ambassador Marianna Vardinoyannis praised
Mrs. Mehriban Aliyeva`s charitable activities.
Marianna Vardinoyannis presented the Azerbaijani First Lady with a keepsake.
Afterwards, Mrs. Mehriban Aliyeva toured the association`s building and warmly
chatted to the children and their parents. She presented the children with keepsakes
on behalf of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation.
