PAKISTAN CAN LEARN FROM MALAYSIA - ZARDARI

KUALA LUMPUR, Feb 19 (Bernama) -- Pakistan President Asif Ali Zardari said
Pakistani agriculturists and entrepreneurs could learn and benefit from
Malaysian expertise in palm oil production.

He said he would advise the Pakistan Government to send a delegation to
Malaysia to learn first-hand from the Malaysian experience in this regard.

Zardari said this while talking to Media Prima Berhad (MPB) chairman Abdul
Mutalib Mohamed Razak who called on the president in Islamabad Wednesday.

MPB is the largest integrated media investment group in Malaysia.

A press release on the meeting was faxed to Bernama by the Pakistan High
Commission here.

Abdul Mutalib is leading a high-level, five-member media delegation on a
four-day visit to the Islamic republic, to explore possibilities of cooperation
between the media sectors of Pakistan and Malaysia.

According to the statement, the president said that great opportunities for
media collaboration existed between the two countries.

Zardari said that Pakistan was at the centre of major international news
because of its role in the fight against terror, and this also provided a great
opportunity for news exchange programmes between the two countries.
