PRESIDENT ILHAM ALIYEV RECEIVES VICE-SPEAKER OF GEORGIAN PARLIAMENT
Baku, 23 February (AzerTAc) President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev received today vice-speaker of the Georgian parliament Pridon Todua and his accompanying delegation.
The President noted that the Georgian delegation`s current visit to Baku would
contribute to interparliamentary relations. He expressed hope that the visit would
be fruitful in terms of discussing prospects for cooperation between the two
countries` legislative bodies.
Pridon Todua recalled his meeting with Azerbaijan`s national leader Heydar Aliyev
and described it as an “honor” for himself.
He underlined the necessity of boosting interparliamentary ties, and expressed
confidence that the current visit would contribute to strengthening bilateral
cooperation.
