All people asked to actively participate in 25th SEA Games

(KPL) Standing Deputy Prime Minister Somsavat Lengsavad, Chairman of the National Organising Committee for 25th SEA Games has asked all people, particularly all sub - committees to actively work in order to complete its assigned responsibility.
Mr. Somsavat Lengsavad added that the 25th SEA Games is a responsibility and great honour of all people, especially the National Sports Committee which is the key organistion to provide the information and facilities to all sub committees.
The statement was released during the meeting held on 20 February to prepare for 25th SEA Games at the Prime Minister’s office. During the meeting, a progress report on preparing for 25th SEA Games from all sub-committees was read and discussed to further improvement.
On this occasion, Mr. Somsavat Lengsavad also urged all sub-committees to well coordinate with each other and to produce clearly activities as well as the budget plan. He said some unnecessary activities will be cut due to the budget and the fund mobilization from society will be postponed.
Standing Deputy Prime Minister Somsavat Lengsavad has suggested the opening and closing sub-committee to use the Lao made material for volunteers and artists at the opening and closing functions.
In order to reduce the expenditure for city decoration, Mr. Somsavat Lengsavad has told the meeting to ask local people to plant a number of flowers and then buy from them.
Concerning the practice of the athletes, Mr. Somsavat Lengsavad has asked the sports sub-committee to promote the regularly practice of the athletes and asked them to respect to all principles.
