MINSK COMPANIES DISPLAY THEIR PRODUCTS IN BAKU

Baku, 24 February (AzerTAc). An exhibition of products manufactured by Minsk
companies have been today launched in Azerbaijan`s capital. The event features a
wide range of products covering food and woodworking industry and car and furniture
manufacturing.
Speaking at the event, Minsk Governor Leonid Krupets said “this kind of events play
key role in expanding the scope of bilateral economic cooperation”.
Krupets, who is leading a large delegation of Belarus businessmen, said in Baku they
held a number of talks with their Azerbaijani counterparts.
Azerbaijan`s deputy economic development minister Mikayil Jabbarov expressed
confidence the Minsk delegation`s visit to Azerbaijan “will give impetus to
increasing export to Belarus.”
Jabbarov said the event will also be fruitful in terms of boosting cooperation
between Belarus and Nakhchivani businessmen “as Nakhchivan`s economic development
minister Famil Seyidov and a group of business people from the autonomous republic
are attending the exhibition”.
The exhibition ends tomorrow, and the Minsk businessmen are then heading to
Azerbaijani regions.
