AZERBAIJAN`S EMBASSY IN FRANCE ORGANIZES CEREMONY TO COMMEMORATE 17TH ANNIVERSARY OF KHOJALY GENOCIDE
Paris, February 28 (AzerTAc). The Embassy of Azerbaijan in France organized Thursday a commemorative event on the 17th anniversary of the Khojaly genocide.
Azerbaijani Ambassador to France Tarik Aliyev spoke of the tragedy describing it as
“black spot” in the history of humanity.
The event`s participants were handed over books, documentary photos on the Khojaly
genocide prepared by the Heydar Aliyev Foundation. They were also informed of the
“Justice for Khojaly” international awareness campaign and its website.
The Embassy also sent information on the massacre to the French Foreign Ministry and
diplomatic representations accredited in the country.
