BAKU TO HOST SEVERAL EVENTS AS ISLAMIC CULTURE CAPITAL

Baku, March 1 (AzerTAc). Baku will host a series of events through the year in the
capacity of Islamic Culture Capital for 2009, according to Azerbaijan`s culture and
tourism ministry.
This month the Festival of Traditional Islamic Architecture will be arranged at the
Museum Center.
In April, the center will host an international exhibition “National costumes and
puppets”.
In May, ISESCO will organize here the week of culture, which will feature several
concerts, including one by the State instrumental orchestra.
