AZERBAIJANI SERVICEMEN TO PARTICIPATE IN NATO PfP EXERCISES
Baku, 2 March (AzerTAc). According to the Azerbaijan Ministry of Defense, the city of Brunssum (the Netherlands), will host a Joint Force Command Headquarters course within the frames of NATO Partnership for Peace program (PfP) on March 2-13.
Also
course for NATO/PfP staff officers will be organized on March 2- 20 in Tuusula,
Finland.
The “Security, Stability, Transition and Reformation” NATO/PfP exercise in Garmisch,
Germany and “The Humanitarian Assistance in the Field of Natural Disasters”
exercise in Izmir, Turkey will be conducted on March 3-20 and March 9-12
respectively. Planning conference of the NATO/PfP “Cooperative Archer 2009” exercise
will take place in Ankara on March 10-12, while exercise on legal aspects of armed
conflicts are due in Ankara on March 9-20.
Following the Program signed between NATO and Azerbaijan, representatives of
Azerbaijani Armed Forces will attend abovementioned courses.
