RAJABOV DRAWS WITH IVANCHUK IN LINARES
Baku, March 2 (AzerTAc). Azerbaijani grandmaster Teymur Rajabov has been held to a draw by Ukrainian Vasily Ivanchuk in the 9th round of the annual Linares chess tournament.
The day`s other results are as follows: Lenier Dominguez 0-1 Magnus Carlsen, Wang
Yue 0.5-0.5 Alexander Grischuk, Levon Aronian 0.5-0.5 Viswanathan Anand.
After nine rounds Grischuk leads the table with 6 points. Carlsen, Aronian and
Ivanchuk have 5 points, Anand 4.5 points, Dominguez, Yue and Rajabov 3.5 points
each.
The 10th round will see Rajabov face Aronian, Anand play Dominguez, Carlsen take on
Yue and Grishuk clash with Ivanchuk.
