PRESIDENT ILHAM ALIYEV INAUGURATES HEYDAR ALIYEV MUSEUM IN MINGACHEVIR

Mingachevir, March 3 (AzerTAc). President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev and his spouse
Mehriban Aliyeva participated in the inauguration of the Heydar Aliyev museum in
Mingachevir on March 3.
The Head of State cut the ribbon symbolizing official opening of the museum.
The museum built in 2006 was reconstructed last year. The President saw a bust to
national leader Heydar Aliyev mounted in the foyer and photographs depicting Heydar
Aliyev`s first visit to Mingachevir in 1981 when national leader inaugurated the
first power unit of the Azerbaijan State Regional Power Station, the Caucasus`s
energy giant then.
Classes are taught in the computer room. Computers are connected to the Internet.
Schoolchildren and student study Heydar Aliyev`s legacy here. The creating room here
features some 1000 drawings by schoolchildren and sculptures. The library has about
600 books. The Heydar Aliyev school holds its classes in the meeting room.

Then, the Head of State had a conversation with Mingachevir public in front of the
museum.
President Ilham Aliyev noted Mingachevir is also rapidly developing just like other
regions are, adding this trend will continue.
