AZERBAIJAN`S CULTURE AND TOURISM MINISTER VISITS CUBA

Baku, March 4 (AzerTAc). Culture and Tourism Minister of Azerbaijan Abulfas Garayev visited Cuba from February 25 to March 1.

As part of the visit, the Minister met with the country`s Deputy Prime Minister
Ricardo Cabrisas Ruiz, Foreign Trade Minister Raul de la Nuez, Tourism Minister
Manuel Marrero, President of the Chamber of Commerce Raul Becerra, Deputy Minister
of Foreign Investment and Economic Cooperation Ricardo Guerrero and others.
The talks focused on the current state of and prospects for bilateral cooperation.
The two country`s officials also signed an agreement on “Cooperation between the
Ministry of Culture and Tourism of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Ministry of
Tourism of the Republic of Cuba”.
They also agreed to hold the next meeting of Azerbaijan-Cuba Intergovernmental
Commission in May in Baku.
Azerbaijan`s Ambassador to Cuba Agshin Mehdiyev was present at the meetings.
