ADNOC, CIPD sign agreement for professional growth

ABU DHABI, 26th April, 2018 (WAM) -- The Abu Dhabi National Oil Company, ADNOC, and the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development, CIPD, have signed an agreement to collaborate in enhancing the capability and expertise of ADNOC’s Human Capital staff in support of ADNOC’s 2030 Strategy to develop a highly skilled world-class workforce. The agreement was signed in a ceremony at ADNOC headquarters by Ghannam Al Mazrouei, Director of the Human Capital and Administration Directorate at ADNOC, and Peter Cheese, CEO of the CIPD. The agreement enables ADNOC and the CIPD to work together in partnership in several areas, including the use of the CIPD Professional Standards, CIPD qualifications and human capital career pathways. This will also include the design and delivery of CIPD continuous professional development clinics to enable ADNOC’s Human Capital staff to be developed as per the international professional standards. Commenting on the partnership, Al Mazrouei said, "This agreement reaffirms ADNOC’s unwavering commitment to the development of our people – ADNOC’s most valuable assets. It represents further investment in programmes to accelerate the growth of ADNOC talent and helps create opportunities for our human resources team to fulfill its professional potential."
