M'SIAN KING PRESENTS APPOINTMENT LETTERS TO NEW ENVOYS

KUALA LUMPUR, March 5 (Bernama) -- Malaysian King Tuanku Mizan Zainal Abidin
THursday presented letters of appointment to two Malaysian ambassadors and two
high commissioners at National Palace, here.

Hasnudin Hamzah, 50, who was Malaysia's ambassador to Jordan from 2006
until last month, received his letter of appointment as the new high
commissioner to New Zealand.

Tuanku Mizan also presented appointment letters to Dr Hasrul Sani Mujtabar
as Malaysia's ambassador to Algeria, Mohd Zulkephli Mohd Noor as ambassador to
Libya and Nik Mustafa Kamal Nik Ahmad as high commissioner to Nigeria.

Hasrul Sani, 51, was previously secretary of the Middle East and North
Africa Division under the Foreign Ministry's Bilateral Relations Department.

Mohd Zulkephli, 50, was secretary of the ministry's Economic Multilateral
and Environment Division, while Nik Mustafa, 53, had served as Malaysia's
consul-general in the Philippines.
