GENTING LAUNCHES GICC WORLDCARD



KUALA LUMPUR, March 7 (Bernama) -- Genting has launched a new membership
card to help companies save costs when organising their events or functions at
Genting and Awana Hotels and Resorts.

Senior vice president of sales and marketing of Resorts World Bhd, Paul Chan
Meng Yeong, said the Genting International Convention Centre WorldCard was
another innovative collaboration that provided additional value to the meetings,
incentives, conventions and events (MICE) customers.

"It's the stimulus everyone needs these days in the current economic climate
in organising MICE events," he said at the launch of the card here Friday.

He said the total amount spend on each function would be converted to points
and they could be redeemed for all GICC facilites as well as products and
services at properties own by Genting as well as its hotel and resort.
