EMULATE PROPHET'S CHARACTER, SAYS RULER OF PERAK STATE
IPOH (Malaysia), March 10 (Bernama) -- Muslims nationwide should emulate the
noble characters and personality of Prophet Muhammad, who was sent down by Allah
to create a glorious civilisation.
The Ruler of northern state of Perak, Sultan Azlan Shah said Prophet
Muhammad had carried out his responsibilities in a manner praised by not only
his family members, friends and followers but also his enemies.
"He reflected the embodiment of patience and nobility, always speaking with
wisdom and integrity.
"He also prayed for the prosperity of his followers and asked Allah to make
his enemies repent. He never scorned those who did not agree with him," Sultan
Azlan Shah said while officiating the Maulidur Rasul celebrations and launching
the Dakwah Month programme at the state-level, here.
Sultan Azlan Shah said Prophet Muhammad always looked for a nice way to show
the truth to those who opposed him, which won him their support and cooperation.
He added that the prophet also appreciated those who had contributed deeds
in his life, and this could be seen through his actions towards his family
members, including those who refused to be part of Islam.
"This glorious civilization was built on his noble character. It earned him
respect from his friends and enemies," he said.
