RUSSIAN FM ARRIVING IN BAKU

Baku, March 11 (AzerTAc). Russian Minister of Foreign Affairs Sergey Lavrov is
arriving today in Baku, according to the Russian Embassy to Azerbaijan.

Mr. Lavrov`s itinerary includes meetings with Azerbaijani officials on current level
of Azerbaijan-Russian relations.
The meetings will also discuss results of execution of a Declaration on friendship
and strategic partnership between the two states signed last year.
Lavrov will also attend an opening ceremony of Russian information and culture center.
Before his departure, the Russian minister told journalists “as neighbor states and
active regional players, Russia and Azerbaijan have a lot of issues to discuss,
including the legal status of the Caspian Sea and creation of a multi-sided
mechanism for ensuring safety in the sea.”
