Baku, 13 March (AzerTAc). According to Ms. Marion van der Vecht, the Baku Forum, which has given a new impetus to the advancement of inter-cultural dialogue and the organization of current event in Haarlem, one of the most ancient historical cities of the Netherlands, should also be regarded as an opportunity to follow Mehriban Aliyeva’s recommendation.
Azerbaijan should promote the popularization of its tolerance, secularity and gender equality on the one hand and national and religious traditions on the other hand. Dutch people should scrutinize the Azerbaijan’s experience in the field of organizing a dialogue among Civilizations and ensuring women’s full participation in these projects. A documentary film about Azerbaijan was presented to the attendees at the end of the conference.
Groningen Female Chorus has masterly performed Azerbaijani folk song “Sary gelin”. Firangiz Bagirova, Dutch composer of Azerbaijan origin, and Baku pop stars Tunzala Agayeva, Elza Seyidjahan and Azerin have performed Azerbaijan national music and jazz.
