FORMER PRESIDENT OF FRENCH SENATE, SENATOR CHRISTIAN PONCELET VISITS ICHARISHAHAR
Baku, March 16 (AzerTAc). Former president of the French Senate, Senator Christian Poncelet visited Monday Icharishahar (Inner (Old City) in Baku.
Chief of the Old City State Historic Architectural Reserve Mikayil Jabbarov briefed Mr. Poncelet on activity of the Department. He also spoke of the government`s actions to conserve and restore monuments.
After familiarizing himself with the Bazaar Square and Maiden Tower, Christian Poncelet was invited to a tea party at the Mugham Theatre and was given presents here.
