RAJABOV DRAWS WITH KRAMNIK IN AMBER CHESS TOURNAMET

Baku, 16 March (AzerTAc). Azerbaijani grandmaster Teymur Rajabov has been held to a draw by Russian Vladimir Kramnik in the 2nd round of the 18th Amber Blindfold and Rapid chess tournament in Nice, France.
The day`s results are as follows:
Blind; Alexander Morozevich (Russia) 1-0 Wang Yue (Chine), Peter Leko (Hungary) 1-0 Levon Aronian (Armenia), Veselin Topalov (Bulgaria) 1-0 Sergey Kariakin (Ukraine), Vassily Ivanchuk (Ukraine) 0.5-0.5 Magnus Carlsen (Norway), Gata Kamsky (US) 0.5-0.5 Viswanathan Anand (India)
Rapid; Wang Yue 0-1 Morozevich, Aronian 1-0 Leko, Kariakin 1-0 Topalov, Carlsen 0.5-0.5 Ivanchuk, Anand 1-0 Kamsky.
After two rounds Morozevich and Aronian lead the table with 3 points. Anand and Kramnik have 2.5 points, Carlsen, Leko, Topalov and Kariakin 2 points, Kamsky and Rajabov 1.5 points each.
The 3rd round will see Rajabov face Morozevich, Aronian vs Kamsky, Kariakin vs Kramnik, Anand vs Carlsen, Yue vs Topalov and Leko vs Ivanchuk.
The rate of play is 25 minutes per game per player. With every move made in the blindfold games 20 seconds is added to the clock, with every move made in the rapid games 10 seconds is added.
