International Technology Incubator Forum started

Riyadh, March 16, SPA -- President of King Abdulaziz City for Science
and Technology (KACST) Dr. Mohammed bin Ibrahim Al-Suwaiyel
inaugurated here today the International Technology Incubator Forum,
organized by KACST and technology incubator initiative BADIR-ICT.

In a speech at the opening ceremony, Dr. Suwaiyel asserted the
keenness of KACST to be close to the community and contribute to
human knowledge. He also said that the forum aims to raise awareness
and understanding of business incubation; provide an international
forum to share experiences of business incubation; and provide a
forum for government, financial institutions, universities, research
institutions, corporate business and chambers of commerce within the
Kingdom to discuss with international business incubation experts the
issues pertaining to technology business.

More than 25 international experts from the United States of America,
Latin America, Europe, Asia, Australia and the Middle East
participated in today's activities.

The opening ceremony was attended by a number of officials,
specialists and prominent international speakers and experts in the
field of technology incubators.
