RSSA gets EU Radiological Society`s permanent membership

Jeddah, March 18, SPA -- The Radiological Society of Saudi Arabia
(RSSA) has been chosen by the European Society of Radiology (ESR) as
the only Arab relevant society to be a permanent member of its
governing council.


RSSA's scientific periodical is also included among the 19 active
scientific journals published by scientific societies of radiology.


This has been decided during the Third Scientific Meeting of the
ESR, which also selected Dr.Sattam bin Saud Njaw, the Chairman of the
Board of the RSSA as a member of the editorial board of the European
Journal among 9 radiologists around the world.

Speaking on the occasion, Dr.Njaw expressed his happiness over his
selection in such a prestigious European Society for Radiology,
pointing out that it was the culmination of the ongoing success and
excellence achieved by the RSSA in radiological applications over the
past few years.


He confirmed that RSSA ever since its inception has moved seriously
towards the achievement of its main objectives, which focused on
importance and development of radiology in the Kingdom of Saudi
Arabia as well as the upgrading of the standards of radiologists and
specialists in this field.
