VOTER TURNOUT MAKES UP 71.08% IN AZERBAIJAN REFERENDUM
Baku, March 18 (AzerTAc). The nationwide voting (referendum) for making amendments and supplements to the constitution of Azerbaijan started on 08:00 a.m and ended on 07:00 p.m.
According to the Central Election Commission`s “Sechkiler” Information Center, 3,478,571 out of 4,893,382 voters (71.08%) cast their vote
The referendum was held in 5,367 polling stations in 125 constituencies across the country. The voting was observed by 177 international observers representing 24 organizations and 23 countries and 47,066 local ones.
