BFA president backs Shaikh Salman bin Ibrahim's re-election bid

Manama, (BNA): President of the Bahrain Football Association (BFA), Shaikh Ali bin Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, has reiterated his full support for the President of the Asian Football Confederation (AFC), Shaikh Salman bin Ibrahim Al Khalifa’s re-election bid. He stressed that his renewed support for BFA’s Honorary President, Shaikh Salman, to stay at the helm of AFC for a third term is based the strides made by AFC under his presidency. He stressed Shaikh Salman bin Ibrahim’s professionalism and landmark achievements, which, he said, earned him the support of 40 Asian football associations. BFA president added that Shaikh Salman bin Ibrahim is Bahrain candidate for his widely recognised accomplishments.
