Federations attend sports day workshop

Manama, Jan. 23 (BNA): Bahrain Olympic Committee (BOC) organised a workshop for national sports federations to announce how the website of the 2019 Bahrain Sports Day. The third edition of the Bahrain Sports Day is scheduled on February 12, as the organising committee create a dedicated website to be used as part of a comprehensive plan to make this event a success. the PC systems analyst specialist Zainab Hussain provided a comprehensive overview of the website and the ability to take advantage of the website with all its accessible date. She also explained how the "torch of Bahrain" application is used on mobile phones, specifically Apple devices. This application is aimed to present the sporting events in Bahrain. A similar workshop will be held for the ministries as well as other governmental authorities, private institutions, clubs and youth centres in the coming weeks in an attempt to draw larger attention from participants to sign up through the already-launched website. In the first week of February, the IT directorate also plans to create a voluntary workshop and registration committee members on the sports day to use the website and steps for the participants to confirm their registration online.
