Vice-President receives Vietnam delegation

(KPL) Vice President Bounnhanh Vorachith received on 23 March a courtesy visit from a delegation of the President’s Office of Vietnam, led by its Deputy Head, Giang Son.
They were here to enhance cooperation between Laos and Vietnam during their four-day visit, from 22 to 25 March.Vice President Bounnhanh warmly welcomed the visit of this delegation and added that it contributed significantly to the special solidarity and comprehensive cooperation between the parties and governments of both countries, and in this specific context, between the two Presidential offices.
Mr Giang expressed his thanks to Vice president Bounnhanh for his warm welcome and informed him on the achievements of bilateral cooperation, especially mutual assistance between the two countries over the past years.
During their intercourse, the two sides agreed to further expand the Vietnamese language teaching programme in Laos.
On the same day, Mr Giang paid a courtesy visit to the Head of the President’s Office Souban Sritthirath.
