3rd ARMENIAN-AZERBAIJANI PUBLIC PEACE FORUM UNDERWAY IN VIENNA
Vienna, March 25 (AzerTAc). Austria`s capital is hosting the 3rd Armenian-Azerbaijani Public Peace Forum entitled “Nagorno-Karabakh Conflict – Challenges and Opportunities for Building Confidence Between Societies”.
The British International Alert-organized event brings together NGOs` representatives, political analysts, historians and experts from both countries, as well as Co-Chairs of the OSCE Minsk Group – Ambassadors Matthew Bryza of the USA, Bernard Fassier of France and Yury Merzlyakov of Russia - and Personal Representatives of the OSCE Chairman-in-Office Ambassadors Andrzej Kasprzyk and Charalambos Christopoulos.
The forum is aimed at conducting an exchange of views on mechanisms of confidence-building measures between the conflicting sides.
The forum is closed for press.
International Alert is an independent peacebuilding organization working in over 20 countries and territories around the world.
The organization has been working in support of peace in the Caucasus since 1993.
