INJAZ Bahrain, AmCham back golf tournament

Manama, Feb. 18 (BNA): INJAZ Bahrain and AmCham Bahrain announced the details of the upcoming annual golf tournament in a press conference held on Monday. The golf tournament due to be held at the Royal Golf Club on March 22, 2019 will be a one-day event with a choice of morning or afternoon start times. It will be played under a Florida scramble format and will include many side contests & other enjoyable on-course offers. An awards dinner will also be held at the Four Seasons Hotel Bahrain Bay to complete the day. The press conference was hosted by Her Highness Shaikha Hessa bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, Executive President of INJAZ Bahrain and Qays Zu’bi, President of AmCham Bahrain’s board of directors. The event sponsors committed to date include: Gold Sponsors - Cox Logistics, Big Texas Barbeque, Great Lakes Dredge & Docks, Silver Sponsors - EK Kanoo. Airline Partner - Gulf Air providing 2 Round Trip Business Class tickets to Europe, Venue Sponsors - Royal Golf Club and Four Seasons Hotel Bahrain Bay, Catering Sponsor - CUT by Wolfgang Puck. Funds collected from sponsors and teams taking part in the golf tournament will be donated to INJAZ Bahrain. This will prepare the current students for their competition taking place in April this year and at the same time offer the opportunity for previous students to showcase their products. Qays Zu’bi, President of AmCham Bahrain Board of Directors commented that AmCham decided to make this year’s golf tournament with a community contribution.
