SELANGOR APPOINT PROMINENT TAIWAN PROF AS SCIENCE PARK 11 ADVISER
SHAH ALAM (Malaysia), March 27 (Bernama) -- Selangor has appointed a
prominent professor from Taiwan and a pioneer in the Central Taiwan Science
Park, Prof Chen Ming Der, as the adviser to the Sepang Science Park 11.
Selangor Menteri Besar Abdul Khalid Ibrahim said the appointment was
based on the expertise and credentials of Chen who had developed an industrial
park (Tai Chung Science Park, Taiwan), that has attracted huge investments.
"He had accepted the offer and visited Selangor over the past two days and
exchanged ideas with Selangor Development Corporation (PKNS) and state
government officials on economic issues," he said in a statement here Thursday.
