Qatar's Beach Volleyball Team Rank 8th in World Standing

Doha, March 11 (QNA) - The Qatari beach volleyball team consisting of duo Sherif Younis and Ahmad Tejan finished eighth in world ranking, according to the monthly ranking issued today by the International Volleyball Federation (FIVB). Qatar team are preparing to participate in Katara Beach Volleyball Cup, which will be launched tomorrow and organized by Qatar Volleyball Association in the cultural district Katara from 12 to 16 March this year. Qatar's beach volleyball team finished 8th with 4200 points after participating in 16 international and continental competitions. Qatar beach volleyball duo is ranked first at the Asian and Arab level, while Norway's duo topped the world standing with 5690 points. (QNA)
