AZERBAIJANI MUSIC PERFORMED AT UNIVERSITY OF SOUTH CALIFORNIA
Baku, March 28 (AzerTAc). Azerbaijani compatriot Sabina Rakhcheyeva gave a small concerto at the University of South California during the symposium on diplomacy of culture organized by the Public Diplomacy Center.
She performed a piece “Lachin” on violin mixing Azerbaijani folk music with some of Beethoven`s compositions.
Speaking at the symposium, Rakhcheyeva told of the role of culture in the diplomacy of culture and stressed that music is the most effective way of making peoples get closer.
