Lao-Thai Friendship Road opened in Luang Prabang
(KPL) A Lao-Thai friendship road in Luang Prabang district, Luang Prabang province constructed in February 2008 by the grant aid worth 17,985,000 bath from the Thai government was handed over to the Lao government on 25 March.
The road with 1.5 Km was the renovation of the old road by
pavement. The road has now opened for public use.
The handing over of the road was held between Dr. Thongloun Sisoulith, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and Mr. Kasit Piromya, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Thailand.
