AZERBAIJAN AND RUSSIA AUDITING BODIES SIGN AGREEMENT ON COOPERATION

Baku, March 30 (AzerTAc). Azerbaijan Chamber of Auditors and Russian Collegium of Auditors signed the agreement on cooperation on Monday.
Head of the Azerbaijan Chamber of Auditors Vahid Novruzov said the first agreement was signed in March 1999 in Moscow under supervision of national leader Heydar Aliyev. He assured that the present agreement would help strengthen bilateral relations even more.
The agreement envisages integration in the fields of accounting and auditing, exchanging experience, networking and other issues.
President of the Central Council of the Russian Collegium of Auditors Alexander Ruf told of the collegium`s areas of activity and importance of the agreement. He noted both Azerbaijan and Russian auditing bodies became members of the International Federation of Accountants in November at a Rome meeting.
