QAF President Praises Outstanding Organization of IAAF Diamond League 2019

Doha, May 04 (QNA) - HE Qatar Athletics Federation (QAF) President Dr Thani Abdulrahman Al Kuwari expressed his great satisfaction with the outstanding technical and organizational level of the IAAF Diamond League 2019 that was held for the first time at the Khalifa International Stadium, which will host this year's World Athletics Games. Al Kuwari told reporters that he was very pleased with the appreciation expressed by the IAAF officials, adding Qatar always aspires to ensure that any tournament organized in Doha will be the best in the world in all respects. Al Kuwari said that the Doha round of the Diamond League is always the focus of the world's attention because it is the opening of the Diamond League rounds, and all the champions build on it to begin strong season in the remaining rounds. He added the same applies to our champions who are waiting to participate in the Shanghai tour and the rest of the tours, and to be ready to participate in the Qatar 2019 World Cup, wishing them success. The QAF President also stressed that the Diamond League is also one of the stages of preparation for the big event of the World Cup in Doha at the same stadium Khalifa International Stadium, which confirms that Qatar is ready from now for this global event which will be held in the region for the first time.
