AZERBAIJAN EMBASSY IN BELARUS REMEMBERS DAY OF AZERBAIJANIS` GENOCIDE
Minsk, April 1 (AzerTAc). An event to commemorate 31 March – the Day of Genocide of Azerbaijanis was held in the Azerbaijani Embassy in Belarus.
Asya Manafova, an employee of the embassy, spoke of the tragedy`s details, saying hundreds of civilians were killed by Armenians. She said Armenians had been pursuing an aggressive policy against Azerbaijan throughout history, including events of 1905-1907 and 1918-1920, deportation of Azerbaijanis from Armenia in 1948-1953, and war begun in 1988 to occupy Nagorno-Karabakh.
The event featured a documentary about the Day of Genocide of Azerbaijanis.
