BAKU HOSTING INTERNATIONAL ARCHAEOLOGICAL CONFERENCE
Baku, 1 April (AzerTAc). An international archaeological conference entitled “Azerbaijan – the country uniting East and West (7th – 4th millenniums B.C.)” is underway in Azerbaijan`s capital.
The event brings together archaeologists from Turkey, Germany, USA and France to exchange views on results of archeological excavations in Azerbaijan.
German Deputy Foreign Minister Gernot Erler is also among the participants of the conference co-organized by the German Embassy in Azerbaijan, Azerbaijan Institute of Archaeology and Ethnography and the German Archaeological Institute.
