‘AZERBAIJAN`s NON-OIL SECTOR GREW 14 PERCENT THIS YEAR’
Baku, 1 April (AzerTAc). Azerbaijan`s non-oil sector saw a 14 percent increase in the first two months of 2009, said Head of the Azerbaijani Economic Development Ministry`s administration Samir Veliyev.
Speaking to an Azerbaijan-Germany business forum on Wednesday, Veliyev said “Azerbaijan`s economy is rapidly developing despite the world`s financial crisis”.
According to him, in the first two months of this year, Azerbaijan`s Gross Domestic Product grew 3.4 percent.
