AZERI DEPUTY FOREIGN MINISTER MEETS GERMAN COUNTERPART IN BAKU
Baku, April 1 (AzerTAc). Deputy Foreign Minister of Azerbaijan Khalaf Khalafov met Wednesday with his German counterpart Gernot Erler who is in Baku.
The talks focused on prospects for cooperation between Azerbaijan and Germany, settlement of the Armenia-Azerbaijan conflict over Nagorno-Karabakh.
Following the meeting, Gernot Erler told journalists that they also discussed humanitarian cooperation between the two countries.
Khalaf Khalafov expressed satisfaction at “the high-level relationship between Azerbaijan and Germany.”
He also expressed confidence that bilateral ties would develop even more in the future.
