GOVERNOR OF NEVADA PROCLAIMS 31 MARCH AS COMMEMORATION DAY OF 1918 MASSACRE VICTIMS
Berlin, April 1 (AzerTAc). US State of Nevada proclaimed 31 March as the Commemoration Day of Azerbaijanis killed in 1918 massacres, according to the press release of the US Azeris Network.
After scrutinizing all documents and historical evidences, Governor Jim Gibbons issued a respective order. Territorial integrity of Azerbaijan and Nagorno-Karabakh`s belonging to Azerbaijan was also recognized in the document.
It is the first proclamation by US official in the history, recognizing the fact of massacres of Azerbaijani civilians by Armenian gangs on March 31, 1918.
