‘OFFICIAL BERLIN CURIOUS ABOUT PROTECTION OF PEACE AND STABILITY IN THE SOUTH CAUCASUS REGION’
Baku, April 2 (AzerTAc). `Official Berlin is curious about protection of peace and stability in the South Caucasus region, ` visiting German Deputy Foreign Minister Gernot Erler told journalists.
The German diplomat said the purpose of his visit to Baku was to get information on settlement of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict and situation of stability in the region.
Erler underlined the importance of security of Eastern Partnership countries.
He noted “the Eastern Partnership program is very important in terms of the region`s development.”
“The European Union will allocate 600 million Euro for implementation of the program, and the money will be expend to development of infrastructure and the process of democratization,” he added.
