BAKU STATE UNIVERSITY HOSTS “DAYS OF JAPAN”

Baku, 2 April (AzerTAc). The Baku State University hosted event on theme “Days of Japan”. After the 1998 visit of the National Leader of Azerbaijan Heydar Aliyev to Japan, bilateral ties between Azerbaijan and Japan have been steadily developing. Over thirty students of the Baku State University are currently studying Japanese, according to Ismail Aliyev, pro-rector of the University.
Mr. Matsumira Toshio from the Embassy of Japan to Azerbaijan said the Embassy has provided the University with all necessary books and equipment.
As part of the event there was also organized an exhibition.
