Defense Minister: Helicopter fleet of Azerbaijani army fully modernized and equipped with state-of-the-art weapons

Baku, June 18, AZERTAC The helicopter fleet of the Azerbaijani army has been fully modernized and equipped with the state-of-the-art weapons, Azerbaijan’s Defense Minister Zakir Hasanov has told a press conference. Minister Hasanov said that the military aircraft of the Azerbaijani army are ready to perform combat tasks. “We use the most modern helicopters capable of hitting a target from a long distance," the minister said. “Work is also underway to modernize the country’s naval forces,” he added.
