AZERBAIJAN ONE OF CIS LEADERS IN GLOBAL INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY REPORT
Baku, April 3 (AzerTAc). The World Economic Forum has released its Global Information Technology Report for 2008-2009, placing Azerbaijan on the 60th spot among 134 countries, one of leading places occupied by CIS states.
According to the Ministry of Information and Communication Technologies, in the rankings Azerbaijan left behind such countries like Russia, Moldova, Tajikistan, Kazakhstan, Georgia, and Armenia, and also Turkey, Poland, Bulgaria and Pakistan.
