SOLEMN CEREMONY UNDERWAY TO CELEBRATE 90th ANNIVERSARY OF AZERBAIJAN`s NATIONAL SECURITY BODIES
Baku, April 3 (AzerTAc). A solemn ceremony is underway in the Cultural Center of the National Security Ministry to celebrate the 90th anniversary of Azerbaijan`s security bodies.
Prior to the start of the event, its participants, including the ministry`s senior officials and delegates from 30 countries visited the Alley of Honors to pay tribute to nationwide leader, founder of the Azerbaijani state Heydar Aliyev. Here, they also put flowers at the grave of the renowned ophthalmologist, academician Zarifa Aliyeva.
They also paid respect to Azerbaijani shahids, including employees of the National Security Ministry who died for the country`s independence and sovereignty. They put a wreath at the Eternal Flame monument.
