AZERBAIJAN CHAMPIONSHIP IN RHYTHMIC GYMNASTICS KICKS OFF IN BAKU
Baku, April 3 (AzerTAc). The official opening of the 16th Azerbaijan Championship in Rhythmic Gymnastics started in “Baku” Olympic Sports Complex.
Addressing the participants, unit head of the sports department of Azerbaijan`s Ministry of Youth and Sports Nijat Hasanov underlined that Azerbaijan is rapidly developing on rhythmic gymnastics. The vivid evidence is decision of the European Union of Gymnastics to hold the 25th European Championship in Azerbaijan at the Heydar Aliyev Sports Complex, May 15-17. The event will bring together about 90 athletes from 31 countries.
