OPENING OF TURKEY-ARMENIA BORDERS DOES NOT SERVE AZERBAIJAN`S INTERESTS, SPEAKER OF AZERBAIJAN PARLIAMENT

Baku, 4 April (AzerTAc). Opening of the borders between Turkey and Armenia does not serve Azerbaijan`s interests, Ogtay Asadov, Speaker of Azerbaijan Parliament said at the session of the Milli Majlis of Republic. “At present, a number of political parties representing at the Parliament are negotiate on the matter with the parliament and leaders of the political parties of Turkey. Parliamentarians of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey (GNAT), as well as leaders of political parties of this country have been invited to Azerbaijan, and a special conference is to be held soon on the question,” Mr. Asadov emphasized.
Speaker of Azerbaijan Parliament also noted that women of the Turkish Parliament have invited deputies of Milli Majlis to visit Turkey to have concrete discussions on the item.
