TURKEY-AZERBAIJAN JOINT COMISSION ON FAMILY, WOMEN AND CHILDREN ISSUES HOLDS MEETING IN ANTALYA
Baku, April 4 (AzerTAc). Turkey-Azerbaijan joint comission on family, women and children issues held a meeting in Antalya, Turkey.
Chairwoman of Azerbaijan State Committee for Family, Women and Children`s Issues Hijran Huseynova and Turkish State Minister of Women and Family Affairs Nimet Cubukcu spoke of bilateral cooperation in ensuring active participation of women in various spheres of society, including political and economic ones.
It was noted during the meeting that the joint commission`s establishment contributes to expanding relevant cooperation and exchange of experience between the two countries.
Hijran Huseynova stressed the activities of President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation, UNESCO and ISESCO Goodwill Ambassador, MP Mehriban Aliyeva in solving problems of children and women in the country.
Huseynova noted that her committee is keen on maintaining cooperation with Turkish relevant bodies and using their experience.
