ELDERLY COUPLE KILLED IN PONTIANAK FIRE
Pontianak, W Kalimantan, April 4 (ANTARA) - A man , Rudi Hartono (82), and his wife, Aluwati (72), were killed in a fire which gutted six shop-houses in Jalan Setia Budi, Pontianak Kota, West Kalimantan, im the wee hours on Saturday.
Pontianak City Police Headquarters' chief Adjunct Comm. Sunaryo said here on Saturday that the fire started in Hartono's shop-house and spread to other houses.
Hartono and wife were killed in the accident because they were asleep and both were of advanced age so that they were umable to do something to save themselves.
