LITHUANIA OPENS TRADE HOUSE IN BAKU

Baku, April 8 (AzerTAc). Lithuania has opened its trade house in Azerbaijan`s capital. An opening ceremony took place at the Lithuanian embassy here with participation of the country`s foreign minister Vygaudas Usackas.
Speaking to the ceremony Usackas said ”the opening of the house will give the impetus to boosting the trade relations between the two countries".
Gafar Gurbanov, Chairman of the Executive Board of local AtaHolding company, said Azerbaijan and Lithuania plan to increase the bilateral trade.
“We will widen the range of goods imported from Lithuania to Azerbaijan,” said Gurbanov.
“There are also plans to build two plants here using Lithuanian equipment,” he added.
