Somali pirates release 7 Yemeni fishermen



SANA'A, April 07 (Saba) - Somali pirates released on Tuesday seven
Yemeni fishermen along with their boat after holding them in the
Indian Ocean last Wednesday.

Undersecretary of Fisheries Wealth Ministry for Production and
Marketing Sector Ghazi Lahmar told Saba that the release came after
negotiations between al-Abari Association the owner of the boat and
Somali fishermen coming to Mukalla city of Hadramout governorate for
marketing fish.

Lahmar added the boat was released 50 - 60 miles off Sayhot coast in
Mahrah governorate.

All the fishermen are well and not harmed while being held by the
pirates, he said.
