World Athletics Championships: Jamaica Control the 4*100m Semi-Final

Doha, October 05 (QNA) - Jamaica's 4*100 meters relay team dominated the semi-final of the World Athletics Championships that are hosted by Doha. Jamaica, led by world champion Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce, led the standings after completing the race in 42.11 seconds, 0.14 seconds ahead of Great Britain's team. China came in third place, finishing in 42.36 seconds while the team USA finished fourth after taking 42.46 seconds to get to the finish line. Jamaica will play in the final on Sunday, and will look to strip the gold medal off the holders team USA. Jamaica are the world record holders in 4*100 relay for women, when they finished the race in 41.06 back in 2015 in Beijing. (QNA)
